Dr. Anna Bujons heads Fundació Puigvert’s, Paediatric Urology Unit. She earned her PhD in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Barcelona and specializing in Urology. In June 2011, she received her PhD Cum Laude from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) with a thesis on “Sexuality in spina bifida.” Additionally, she holds a master’s degree in Cosmetic and Aesthetic Medicine from the University of Barcelona.

Dr. Bujons focuses on diagnosing and treating congenital genitourinary malformations in children and adolescents, who are monitored until adulthood. She also specializes in minimally invasive surgery.

Her primary clinical research areas include managing bladder exstrophy, comprehensive management of urinary lithiasis in children, and urinary malformations of the upper and lower urinary tract. She also conducts basic research on adipose-derived stem cells for lower urinary tract reconstructions.
