BAPS is the premier congress on the international paediatric surgery calendar, attracting hundreds of surgeons from over 70 countries. The programme covers all subspecialties including gastrointestinal surgery, oncology, thoracic surgery, neonatal surgery, urology, hepatobiliary and trauma. The content reaches far beyond the borders of the UK to report on important developments in Global Surgery and we proudly have an active International Affairs Committee. Basic science is also celebrated, with a Research Collaboration and Research Toolkit. We have two refresh sessions on Embryology and Statisticsm, as well as a symposium on Medical ethics for the surgeon in the 21st century! Next year will see BAPS celebrate their 70th year and we have extended the congress format for an extra day to include some new innovations. Indeed, the topic for 2024 will be Innovation in surgery, and we hope to include 3d printing, and robotics as well as other cutting edge topics. Our delivery platform with MedAll also ensures you an virtual presence with the ability to communicate directly with delegates and play promotional videos or do live sessions as well as having a face-to-face presence during the congress.
