SAPS Meeting

The Seniors Association of Paediatric Surgeons (SAPS) has organised a meeting as part of the surgical week 2017.  This has been put together by Professor Lewis Spitz, and we hope retired surgeons will join Prof for this meeting!

Tuesday 18th July

Dinner at Coopers Restaurant, 49 Lincoln’s Inn Fields, London WC2A 3PF from 7.30pm (adjacent to the Royal College of Surgeons).  Set menu with choice of main course and dessert (BAPS will pay for the wine!)

Wednesday 19th July

The Francis Crick Institute of Medical Research, King’s Cross, 10am – a guided tour of this new multi-million pound venture.

The Foundling Museum,  40 Brunswick Square, 11.30am  – a conducted tour of the museum.  The Foundling Museum explores the history of the Foundling Hospital, the UK’s first children’s charity and first public art gallery.

There is a cafe at both locations serving light lunches and teas.

Seniors will then be welcome to join the main scientific sessions at BAPS (Hilton Hotel) and for afternoon tea.
