Message from our Honorary Secretary

Dear Friends of BAPS and IPEG,

It is now only a month to our joint Congress in London and a fantastic multi-disciplinary programme has been set up with the help of colleagues, including the Trainees Day and Trainees Free Paper Session; symposiums including “Severe Paediatric Obesity: Current Medical and Surgical Management Paradigms – A Global Perspective” and “Managing Continence in the Complex Paediatric Patient”; meetings from the Senior Association of Paediatric Surgeons, the International Affairs Committee and the International Society of Paediatric Wound Care; a hands-on Laparoscopic Learning Centre for all registrants …..and much, much, more!

We are grateful to all our colleagues, both at home and abroad, for the support shown in the light of recent tragic events in London. Please know that life in London continues unimpeded and the Security Services are working tirelessly to maintain the safety of its citizens. The best way you can show your solidarity with us against perpetrators of such heinous acts is to attend Congress and show them that such evil will not prevail.
